Period: 6 Months with possibility of extension depending on the work performance

Job Purpose

The Helpdesk Administrator is responsible for the daily management and smooth operation of the MSME Helpdesk facility established under the project. The role ensures that the helpdesk functions as a structured service point for registration, coordination, consultation scheduling, and logistical support for agribusiness MSMEs and youth entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the MSME Helpdesk facility.
  • Maintain an organized system for beneficiary registration and records.
  • Schedule consultations, training sessions, and advisory meetings.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for project activities.
  • Ensure availability and proper use of office equipment and facilities.
  • Support communication between beneficiaries, advisors, and project staff.
  • Maintain accurate attendance sheets, databases, and service records.
  • Support organization of training sessions, hackathon activities, and events.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all helpdesk-related activities.
  • Contribute to basic reporting and data collection for project monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in administrative support, office management, helpdesk operations, or project support.
  • Experience working with development projects, NGOs, UN agencies, or donor-funded programs is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate schedules, meetings, trainings, and consultations efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle beneficiary information professionally.
