PARC signs a memorandum of understanding to establish 4 km of water pipelines in Beit Furik and Beit Dajan

The Agricultural Development Association (PARC), represented by its General Manager Mr. Munjid Abu Jish, and the Joint Services Council for the Water Authority of Beit Furik and Beit Dajan, represented by Mr. Saeed Mleitat, signed a memorandum of understanding. The signing ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Beit Furik, Mr. Hussein Haj Muhammad, and the Village Council member of Beit Dajan, Mr. Tawfiq Haj Muhammad, along with the PARC team in the Nablus Governorate.

The memorandum includes the implementation of a project to extend agricultural water pipelines over a length of 4 km in the plains areas belonging to the two towns. This pipeline will serve more than 3000 hectares of agricultural land. In addition, eight agricultural grants will be provided to create plots for cultivating potatoes, onions, and garlic.

This activity comes within the framework of the "Tasdeer - Trade Facilitation & Customs Support" project, in collaboration with Cowater International Inc, and funded by the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office - UK Government.
