PARC finalized awareness raising sessions and agricultural training for a group of rural families and farmers in the governorates of Hebron and Bethlehem as part of the Palestinian Food Security Enhancement Project funded by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through GIZ Palestine.

Each group of families and farmers completed the training with a practical day to apply the knowledge they gained, especially those related to their agricultural projects (plant production, animal production, food processing), along with a post-training assessment to measure its impact and success.

It's worth mentioning that the project is being implemented in 9 locations in the governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron, targeting rural families, small-scale farmers, and breeders in the intervention areas. These short-term training sessions, followed by the provision of production inputs to the beneficiaries, aim to enhance their production capacity and empower them to produce food. This leads to an increase in both the quantity and quality of their food access, gradually enhancing their food security.
