Agricultural Development Association Holds Meetings to Activate Protection Committees in Ten Locations

date_rangeAgricultural Development Association (PARC) recently held a series of meetings to activate protection committees in ten targeted locations as part of the project "Enhancing the Resilience of Palestinian Households Living in Rural Communities in the West Bank through Livelihood and Protection Interventions," funded by Danish Muslim Aid and implemented in partnership with Taawon.
The meetings targeted the villages of Zbeidat, Al-Jiftlik, Furush Beit Dajan, Bardala, and Ein Al-Beida in the Jordan Valley, as well as Burqa, Qusin, Bazariya, Douma, and An-Nakura in Nablus Governorate. The meetings focused on establishing the protection committees, outlining their mission, objectives, and assigned tasks. Additionally, discussions covered the activities that will be carried out in collaboration with these committees throughout the project duration.
Notably, the project will focus on building the capacities of protection committees and volunteers in risk management, developing comprehensive risk reduction plans through participatory community workshops. These workshops will lead to the implementation of tailored community initiatives in each targeted location.
