ضمن مشروع المساعدة الإنسانية الطارئة والمنقذة للحياة للنساء والفتيات والفتيان والرجال المتضررين من النزاعات في فلسطين، غزة قامت جمعية التنمية الزراعية " الإغاثة الزراعية "بالشراكة مع منظمة كير العالمية وبتمويل من المفوضية الأوروبية للمساعدات الإنسانية والحماية المدنية (ECHO) بإعادة تأهيل بئر مياه الشيخ رضوان في غزة وذلك بهدف توفير المياه البلدية للسكان المتضررين من استمرار  التصعيد.

ويأتي تأهيل وصيانة بئر المياه لتوفير كميات كافية من المياه البلدية للأسر في المنطقة (حيث سيوفر 60 متر مكعب في الساعة مما يغطي 30 الف نسمة في المنطقة)، و سيقوم المشروع  بالتخفيف من معاناة المواطنيين / المواطنات  بالوصول للمياه للاستخدامات الداخلية و بالتالي تحسين الوضع الصحي والبيئي في المنطقة، ويعزز القدرة على الصمود في مواجهة الأزمات الإنسانية حيث يوجد نقص حاد في المياه بمنطقة الشيخ رضوان في غزة ، وهو ما يشكل تحديًا كبيرًا للعديد من الأسر التي تعاني من صعوبة الوصول للمياه. ومن خلال هذا المشروع، يسعى الشركاء و أصحاب المصلحة إلى تحسين وضع  الوصول للمياه المحلية في المنطقة، مما سيسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة لسكانها، لا سيما النساء والفتيات والأطفال، الذين يتأثرون بشكل خاص بنقص المياه بدرجة أكبر من غيرهم.

يُعتبر هذا المشروع جزءًا من سلسلة من المشاريع الإنسانية التي تنفذها جمعية الإغاثة الزراعية و منظمة كير العالمية بهدف تخفيف معاناة الغزيين في ظل الظروف الصعبة التي يعيشونها، لا سيما في شمال وادي غزة

 

Funded by ECHO: CARE International and PARC Rehabilitate Sheikh Radwan Water Well in Gaza

 

As part of the Urgent, life-saving humanitarian assistance for conflict-affected women, girls, boys and men in Palestine, the Agricultural Development Association (PARC), in partnership with CARE International and funded by the European Commission for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO), has rehabilitated the Sheikh Radwan Water Well in Gaza. This initiative aims to provide municipal water to residents affected by ongoing escalations.

 

The rehabilitation and maintenance of the water well are intended to supply adequate amounts of municipal water to households in the area (please specify the amount of water and the number of families in the region). The project will alleviate the suffering of residents in accessing water for domestic use, thereby improving health and environmental conditions in the area. It also enhances resilience in the face of humanitarian crises, as the Sheikh Radwan area in Gaza suffers from a severe water shortage, posing a significant challenge to many families struggling to access water.

 

Through this project, partners and stakeholders aim to improve access to local water resources in the region, contributing to better living standards for its residents, particularly women, girls, and children, who are disproportionately affected by water scarcity.

 

This initiative is part of a series of humanitarian projects implemented by PARC and CARE International to alleviate the suffering of Gazans amidst the challenging circumstances they face, especially in the northern Wadi Gaza area.
