تمكنت جمعية التنمية الزراعية "الإغاثة الزراعية" من مساعدة 200 دونم من الأراضي الزراعية في استعادة  قدرتها الإنتاجية في مناطق مختلفة من قطاع غزة، وذلك على الرغم من حجم الدمار الواسع ونقص المدخلات الزراعية وارتفاع تكاليف الإنتاج في القطاع الزراعي داخل القطاع.

إذ استهدف تدخل الإغاثة الزراعية في هذا المجال، دعم 200 مزارع موزعين على محافظات شمال غزة، وغزة، والوسطى، وخانيونس، وذلك من خلال توفير مجمعوة مختلفة ومتنوعة من المستلزمات والمدخلات الزراعية الأساسية اللازمة للعمل الزراعي في أراضيهم، وبالتالي حثهم على استعادة طاقتهم الإنتاجية، وحماية مصادر دخلهم.

يأتي هذا التدخل ضمن مشروع "تعزيز الوصول إلى خدمات الأمن الغذائي وتدخلات المياه والإصحاح والنظافة المنقذة للحياة للأسر النازحة المتضررة من النزاع في قطاع غزة"، الممول من Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH)

كما يأتي هذا العمل في ظل ظروف استثنائية وتحديات غير مسبوقة يمر بها القطاع الزراعي في غزة، تشمل تضرر الأراضي والمنشآت الزراعية ومصادر المياه، فضلاً عن الشح الشديد في المواد الزراعية وارتفاع أسعارها، مما يهدد الاستقرار الغذائي وسبل عيش آلاف الأسر.

من خلال هذه التدخلات، تسعى الإغاثة الزراعية إلى مساندة المزارعين، والحفاظ على الأراضي القابلة للزراعة، وتعزيز صمود القطاع الزراعي؛ إذ أننا نؤمن أن كل دونم زراعي يعود للإنتاج هو خطوة فعلية نحو دعم الأمن الغذائي المحلي وصون سبل العيش للسكان في قطاع غزة.

 

PARC Restores 200 Dunums of Agricultural Land to Production in the Gaza Strip

The Agricultural Development Association (PARC) has successfully helped restore the productive capacity of 200 dunums of agricultural land across various areas of the Gaza Strip, despite the extensive destruction, shortage of agricultural inputs, and high production costs affecting the agricultural sector.

This intervention targeted 200 farmers across the governorates of North Gaza, Gaza, Middle Area, and Khan Younis governorates. Through this initiative, PARC provided a diverse range of essential agricultural supplies and inputs required for farming activities on their lands, encouraging farmers to resume agricultural production and protect their sources of income.

The intervention is part of the project “Enhancing Access to Food Security Services and Life-Saving WASH Interventions for Conflict-Affected Displaced Families in the Gaza Strip” funded by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).

This initiative comes at a time when Gaza’s agricultural sector is facing exceptional and unprecedented challenges, including damage to agricultural lands, facilities, and water resources, as well as severe shortages and soaring prices of agricultural materials. These conditions pose a serious threat to food security and the livelihoods of thousands of families.

Through these interventions, PARC seeks to support farmers, preserve cultivable land, and strengthen the resilience of the agricultural sector. We believe that every dunum of land restored to production represents a tangible step toward enhancing local food security and safeguarding the livelihoods of the people of the Gaza Strip
