PARC carried out a series of field visits to beneficiaries of the "Empowerment Project: Vulnerable Youth Establishing Small and Micro Enterprises," funded by the European Union through the Belgian Development Agency, Enabel.
The team conducted field visits to the project beneficiaries who had previously presented their ideas in front of the evaluation committee on the final presentation day (Empowerment Agathon). A total of 76 beneficiaries from six governorates in the northern West Bank were visited. These visits were part of the evaluation process for business plans to study their practical aspects.
The submitted projects address various aspects of agricultural value chains, in addition to environmental aspects and those related to climate change. Thirty-six individual ideas will be supported by the project grant, along with three other ideas submitted by cooperative associations.
