Position Title: Internal Auditor
Reports To: Internal Audit Director
Location: PARC Headquarters Ramallah and Gaza
Organizational Position: Internal Audit Department
Working hours: 8 hours per day, from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM. Saturday and Friday are considered weekly days off.
Purpose of the Position:
Conduct internal audit assignments in accordance with the approved Internal Audit Charter, annual audit plan, and professional standards to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Benefits:
The employee may receive a yearly increment of 2% following the annual evaluation, in addition to other benefits such as spouse allowance, child allowance, health insurance, and others.”
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Execution
- Carry out assigned audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Collect, analyze, and document audit evidence in line with internal audit methodology.
Compliance & Controls
- Audit and Check compliance with PARC’s policies, donor requirements, and applicable laws.
- Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls and propose enhancements.
- Apply PARC internal audit charter
Reporting
- Draft clear and concise audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Follow-up
- Track implementation of recommendations and update status reports.
Continuous Improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal audit practices and sector-specific risks.
- Participate in training and professional development programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CISA) preferred.
- 2–4 years of internal audit or external audit experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
- English language proficiency.
