أدانت جمعية التنمية الزراعية (الإغاثة الزراعية) الاعتداء الذي تعرض له الزميل أنس علي، مسؤول الإعلام في المؤسسة، من قبل قوات الاحتلال أثناء تفقده لمشاريع تنموية في مناطق الأغوار. وذكرت الجمعية أن الزميل أنس تعرض للاحتجاز لساعات، بالإضافة إلى الاعتداء عليه مما تسبب له في رضوض في مختلف أنحاء جسده، كما تم تهديده بالقتل في حال تواجده مجددًا في مناطق مصنفة ج ومغلقة لأغراض عسكرية.

واعتبرت الإغاثة الزراعية أن هذا الاعتداء يعد اعتداءً على المؤسسة ومنعًا لها من أداء عملها في المناطق المختلفة، معتبرةً أن الحجج التي يتم تقديمها لا أساس لها. كما أضافت أن الاعتداء على منسق الإعلام في المؤسسة، الذي هو عضو نشيط في نقابة الصحفيين الفلسطينيين، يُعتبر انتهاكًا لحرية الصحافة ويحد من الحق في العمل الصحفي دون مضايقات أو مسائلة.

PARC Condemns Assault on Its Staff in the Jordan Valley

The Agricultural Development Association (PARC) strongly condemns the assault by Israeli occupation forces on its staff member, Anas Ali, the organization’s Media Coordinator, during a field visit to monitor development projects in the Jordan Valley.

Ali was detained for several hours and physically assaulted, sustaining bruises across his body. He was also publicly threatened with death should he return to areas classified as “C” or designated as closed for military purposes.

PARC considers this incident an attack on the organization itself and an attempt to obstruct its developmental and humanitarian work in various areas under baseless pretexts. The assault on the Media Coordinator—who is also an active member of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate—constitutes a clear violation of press freedom and a breach of international laws that guarantee journalists the right to work freely and without intimidation or persecution.
