غزة - أطلقت جمعية التنمية الزراعية "الإغاثة الزراعية" حملة توقيعات عريضة مطلبية عاجلة تهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على معاناة المزارعين والصيادين المتضررين في قطاع غزة، في ظل استمرار الأوضاع الإنسانية الصعبة نتيجة الحرب الأخيرة على قطاع غزة

ويعاني المزارعون والصيادون في غزة من ظروف كارثية بسبب القيود المفروضة على إدخال مدخلات الإنتاج الزراعي وأدوات ومعدات الصيد، مما أدى إلى تراجع الإنتاج الزراعي بنسبة تجاوزت 75%، وتدمير ما يقارب 70% من الأراضي الزراعية، فضلًا عن شلل تام في قطاع الصيد البحري جراء تدمير القوارب والمعدات ومنع دخول مستلزمات الصيد الأساسية. ووفقًا لإحصائيات حديثة، فإن 91% من سكان غزة يعانون من انعدام الأمن الغذائي الحاد، في ظل تفاقم نقص الغذاء وانتشار سوء التغذية، لا سيما بين الأطفال والنساء.

ودعت الإغاثة الزراعية المجتمع الدولي والأطراف المعنية إلى التدخل الفوري للضغط على الجانب الإسرائيلي من أجل تحقيق مطالب أساسية تشمل الإدخال الفوري لجميع المدخلات الزراعية ومستلزمات الصيد، بما يشمل البذور، الأسمدة، المعدات الزراعية، أنظمة الري، الطاقة المتجددة، مضخات المياه، وأدوات الصيد البحري، بالإضافة إلى زيادة الدعم الإنساني لتعويض خسائر المزارعين والصيادين، وتوفير المساعدات المالية والتقنية لإعادة الإنتاج.

 كما أكدت على ضرورة ضمان الحماية للمزارعين والصيادين أثناء ممارسة أعمالهم، ومنع التضييق أو الاستهداف المباشر لهم، وتعزيز التحرك الدولي من خلال تشكيل جبهة تضامن قوية لدعم حقوق المزارعين الفلسطينيين وضمان تحقيق الأمن الغذائي والتنمية الزراعية المستدامة، إضافة إلى السماح بالصيد البحري دون قيود، وتمكين الصيادين من العودة إلى أعمالهم بأمان.

ونوهت الإغاثة الزراعية أن تنفيذ هذه المطالب ضرورة ملحّة لإعادة بناء القطاع الزراعي والصيد البحري، وحماية سبل عيش آلاف العائلات الفلسطينية التي تعتمد على هذه القطاعات. كما دعت كافة الجهات الدولية والمنظمات الحقوقية والإنسانية إلى دعم العريضة والمساهمة في الضغط من أجل إنهاء القيود المفروضة على القطاع الزراعي والبحري في غزة.

 

PARC Launches an Urgent Petition Campaign to Support Farmers and Fishermen in Gaza

 

Gaza – The Agricultural Development Association (PARC) has launched an urgent petition campaign to highlight the plight of farmers and fishermen affected in the Gaza Strip, amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis caused by the recent war on Gaza.

Farmers and fishermen in Gaza are experiencing catastrophic conditions due to restrictions on the entry of agricultural inputs and fishing equipment. This has led to a more than 75% decline in agricultural production, the destruction of approximately 70% of agricultural land, and a complete paralysis of the fishing sector due to the destruction of boats and equipment, as well as the ban on essential fishing supplies. According to recent statistics, 91% of Gaza’s population suffers from severe food insecurity, with worsening food shortages and malnutrition, particularly among children and women. PARC has called on the international community and relevant parties to intervene immediately and pressure the Israeli side to meet key demands. These include the urgent entry of all agricultural inputs and fishing supplies, such as seeds, fertilizers, agricultural equipment, irrigation systems, renewable energy, water pumps, and fishing tools. Additionally, it calls for increased humanitarian support to compensate farmers and fishermen for their losses and provide financial and technical assistance to restore production.

 

The organization also emphasized the need to ensure the protection of farmers and fishermen while they work, prevent restrictions or direct targeting, and strengthen international action by forming a strong solidarity front to support Palestinian farmers’ rights and ensure food security and sustainable agricultural development. This includes allowing unrestricted fishing and enabling fishermen to return to their work safely.

 

PARC stressed that implementing these demands is an urgent necessity to rebuild the agricultural and fishing sectors and safeguard the livelihoods of thousands of Palestinian families dependent on them. It also urged all international bodies, human rights organizations, and humanitarian agencies to support the petition and contribute to the efforts to lift the restrictions imposed on Gaza’s agricultural and fishing sectors.
