وزعت جمعية التنمية الزراعية (الإغاثة الزراعية)  مستلزمات زراعية على 130 مزارعًا في منطقة الزرقاء، شمال غزة، وتهدف هذه المبادرة إلى تحسين جودة المحاصيل وزيادة الإنتاجية، لا سيما في ظل الأضرار التي لحقت بالقطاع الزراعي جراء الحرب الأخيرة على غزة.

ويأتي هذا التوزيع ضمن مشروع "دعم سبل العيش الزراعية والأسر الزراعية لإنعاش إنتاج المنتجات الطازجة في قطاع غزة"، الذي تنفذه الإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية بالشراكة مع منظمة أوكسفام.

وشمل التوزيع مجموعة متنوعة من الأشتال والأسمدة وشبكات الري لمساعدة المزارعين على استعادة أنشطتهم الزراعية.

ويأتي هذا التدخل  استجابة للظروف الصعبة التي واجهها المزارعون عقب الحرب الإسرائيلية على غزة، والتي دمرت مساحات واسعة من الأراضي الزراعية وأثرت بشدة على سبل عيش العديد من الأسر .

كما سيساعد توفير هذه المدخلات المزارعين على تحسين إنتاجهم والتغلب على التحديات الزراعية في ظل الأزمة الإنسانية والاقتصادية.

 

Israel has placed the Gaza Strip under siege, blocking humanitarian aid, fuel and essential materials needed to repair infrastructure, including water and sewage facilities.

Despite the challenges, Oxfam and PARC work continues.

PARC has distributed agricultural inputs to 130 farmers in the Al-Zarqa area, northern

Gaza. This initiative aims to improve crop quality and increase productivity, especially in light of the damages sustained by the agricultural sector due to the recent war on Gaza.

This distribution is part of the "Support Agriculture-based Livelihoods and Farming

Households to Revive Production of Fresh Produce in the GS" project, implemented by PARC in partnership with Oxfam and.

The distribution included a variety of seedlings, fertilizers, and irrigation networks to help farmers restore their agricultural activities.

PARC emphasized that this intervention responds to the difficult conditions faced by

farmers following Israel’s war on Gaza, which destroyed large areas of agricultural land 

and severely impacted the livelihoods of many families. Providing these inputs will help farmers enhance their production and overcome agricultural challenges amid the humanitarian and economic crisis.

We urge the global community to put pressure on Israel to lift the siege and ensure vital aid urgently gets into Gaza. Israel must immediately open all crossings for vital aid, fuel, agricultural supplies, commercial goods, and reconstruction materials to enter.
