أطلقت جمعية التنمية الزراعية "الإغاثة الزراعية" تدريباً متخصصًاً استهدف 40 مزارع من مربي الثروة الحيوانية في بلدية الرماضين جنوب الخليل، وذلك ضمن أنشطة مشروع “تعزيز الإدارة المستدامة للمياه من أجل دعم الزراعة في جنوب الخليل”، والممول من الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (BMZ). والمنفّذ من قبل الإغاثة الزراعية بالشراكة مع المؤسسة الألمانية للتعاون الدولي (GIZ).

وركّز التدريب على تزويد المشاركين بالمعارف والمهارات العملية في الإدارة المثلى لآبار جمع مياه الأمطار وصيانتها، بما يضمن استخدامها بكفاءة واستدامة لأغراض سقاية الأغنام، ويحدّ من الهدر، ويحسّن من جاهزية المزارعين للتعامل مع ازمة المياه.

كما ساهم التدريب في تعزيز قدرات المزارعين على تبنّي ممارسات أكثر كفاءة في إدارة الموارد المائية، بما ينعكس إيجابًا على صحة القطيع واستقرار الإنتاج الحيواني، ويخفف من التكاليف التشغيلية المرتبطة بتأمين المياه، خاصة في المناطق المهمشة والمقيّدة مثل الرماضين.

ويأتي هذا النشاط ضمن نهج متكامل يربط بين بناء القدرات والتدخلات العملية، حيث سيتم لاحقًا تنفيذ أعمال تأهيل لآبار سقاية الأغنام، بما يعزز الاستفادة من مصادر المياه المحلية ويضمن استدامة استخدامها على المدى الطويل.

 

Agricultural Development Association (PARC) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Launch Training for Livestock Breeders on Best Practices for Using Rehabilitated Rainwater Harvesting Wells for Livestock Breeders.

The Agricultural Development Association (PARC) launched a specialized training targeting 40 livestock breeders in Al-Ramadin, south of Hebron, as part of the project “Enhancing Sustainable Water Resources Management for Resilient Agriculture in Southern Hebron,” funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented in partnership with GIZ.

The training focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills on the optimal management of rainwater harvesting wells, ensuring their efficient and sustainable use for livestock watering purposes. It also aimed to reduce water loss and improve farmers’ preparedness to cope with water scarcity.

The training further strengthened farmers’ capacities to adopt more efficient water management practices, positively impacting livestock health and the stability of animal production, while reducing operational costs associated with water provision, particularly in marginalized and vulnerable areas such as Al-Ramadin.

This activity comes as part of an integrated approach that links capacity building with practical interventions. Rehabilitation works for wells will follow, enhancing the utilization of local water resources and ensuring their long-term sustainability.
